Christmas magic: Smulders Projects UK supports Building Futures East

This festive season, our Smulders Projects UK team made an important contribution by supporting Building Futures East, which works to help families in need in Tyneside and the area around our branch in Newcastle.

Starting in November, we decorated a Christmas tree with tags each representing a possible donation. The Christmas collection was focused on children, ensuring there were toys, chocolates, clothes and reading materials for Christmas. We filled an entire car with donations!

Thanks to additional financial support from Smulders Projects UK (£1000), Inch Cape (£500), Baltic Power (€500), and the wider UK supply chain (+£250), we were really able to make a difference.

Building Futures East reported that they supported 283 residents with food parcels and Christmas treats, and 163 local children received at least three toys and sweets, putting smiles on their faces on Christmas morning.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed. Together, we spread Christmas magic and made a meaningful impact in our community. 🌟
