At the start of a new project, the production department must be able to run at full speed, efficiently and safely. Process engineering preparations contribute to this. The sharp minds of this department assess and discuss the technical feasibility of drawings, draw up construction methodologies and write detailed instructions in close cooperation with the Production Manager, Production Leader and HSE Manager. Production is our priority; if they need something, we do everything in our power to deliver it promptly.

Jasper Hendrickx: "We also help determine the tools and auxiliary steel needed for installation, and we continuously test new techniques to improve our production. Welding innovation is not an empty concept here. Keep playing, keep improving. This applies to both Hoboken and Newcastle. Over the past year, we've also prepared the Smulders Projects UK site for TP production. Our approach is comprehensive; we learn from each other, innovate, and improve collectively. Our colleague Tom Op De Beeck frequently travels to the UK to mentor new team members there. As we continue to grow, we are investing in our Hoboken and Newcastle facilities to ensure they are equipped to handle increasingly larger projects in the future. The drive of our Process Engineers to always go for it is phenomenal. It is also nice to be recognised for our efforts."
