YOUCA Action Day bij Smulders
On October 17, during YOUCA Action Day, we welcomed Lize to our engineering office in Sluiskil for a hands-on experience.
On October 17, thousands of students participated in the YOUCA Action Day. This initiative by YOUCA (Youth for Change and Action) gives students the opportunity to work for one day and donate their salary to youth-led projects worldwide.
At Smulders, we welcomed Lize, the daughter of one of our colleagues, to our engineering office in Sluiskil. Lize got a unique behind-the-scenes look. She helped us look up old drawings in the archive and worked on the ‘Renovation Krammersluizen’ project. Her tasks included calculating coating surfaces in AutoCAD and processing the results in Excel — a challenging and educational experience!
It was a valuable and inspiring day for both Lize and our team!
