Your tasks
As a technician, you will be responsible for detecting/resolving electrical and/or mechanical faults across the site. Depending on your knowledge and specialisation, you will be assigned to certain tasks. Wondering what kind of environment you’ll end up in? Check out what we do in this video!
More specifically:
- As a technician, you will perform both preventive and curative maintenance;
- You locate mechanical and/or electrical faults and resolve them quickly and efficiently;
- You repair welding stations and small (electrical) equipment, rolling stock ...
- If you have strong electrical skills, you also wire electrical supply cabinets on the basis of a diagram;
- You are not afraid to work at heights;
Your magic skills
- Is strong in electricity and/or mechanics. Be sure to state this clearly in your CV;
- Is very much concerned with safety;
- Has technical insight and is solution-oriented;
- Can be flexible and is not afraid to take initiative;
- Is dedicated and able to work autonomously;
- Is willing to attend (paid) training courses and obtain any certificates through the employer, such as a VCA;
- Has command of Dutch or English. Other additional languages are a great asset!
