Job | Assistant Project Lead Electrical Package | Arendonk
Your tasks
- After completing an intensive induction and training programme at our Engineering, Quality Assurance, Procurement or Production departments, you’re jointly responsible for managing and coordinating steel construction projects in Belgium or a neighbouring country.
- You’re responsible for the Electrical Package scope of work for one assigned project.
- You list customer expectations in a Bill of Quantity (BoQ).
- You liaise with the customer to determine the technical requirements for the electrical package.
- You define the Electrical Package Scope of work (EPS) document for the subcontractor and all related documents to be used for tendering.
- You order all electrical components and make sure they’re delivered on time as requested.
- You play an active role in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with suppliers.
- You proactively liaise between the Electrical Package subcontractor and Smulders.
- You describe and note changes in the design (Variation Orders).
- If the detailed engineering design is in our scope (Smulders), you assist the Engineering Team during the design phase.
Your magic skills
- You have a degree in industrial engineering or equivalent through experience.
- You have knowledge of – and experience working with – electrical installations.
- You have a dynamic, enterprising personality.
- You have a flexible, no-nonsense attitude.
- You’re interested in offshore steel constructions (references available on our website).
- You’re a team player.
- You have a structured working style.
- You’re a good communicator and respect others.
- You have very good language skills, in particular in Dutch and English.
- You perform most of your work on our site in Hoboken (regular presence on Arendonk site is required).
