JOB | Cost Controller | Arendonk
Your tasks
- You monitor and verify actual costs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- You evaluate whether actual and projected costs are within budget (sales and zero-based budget).
- You check whether the correct cost elements have been assigned to the right project or subproject.
- You split or transfer budgets within the project while maintaining a clear overview.
- You critically analyse all costs and ask pertinent questions to the involved departments.
- You refine our current budgetary control systems.
- You set up budgetary control in ERP.
- You discuss budgetary control with Project Managers.
- You prepare outgoing invoices and forecasts according to the contract value, including additional work.
- You update the cost performance report (depending on the customer’s requirements)
- You keep an up-to-date record of the contract value, including any approved additional work.


Your magic skills
- Has a Master's degree in a preferably finance, engineering or construction/building field.
- You have previous experience (which is a plus), but we also accept applications from school leavers.
- You have a keen interest in the construction industry and offshore projects.
- You’re used to working to deadlines.
- You have very good Excel skills.
- You also have a good command of English – knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
