Job | Responsible Welding Engineer (project-based) | Arendonk
Your tasks
- You’re responsible for specific welding activities across several projects. You report to the Technology Manager.
- You prepare the welding plan for each project in line with the contract documents.
- You check subcontractors’ welding plans.
- You’re jointly responsible for implementation of the standard welding plan for the organisation – that’s a plan tailored to the production process at the various Smulders sites.
- You organise welding procedure qualifications where needed.
- You’re the first port of call for customer’s welding queries.
Your magic skills
- You’re a qualified welding engineer (IWE/EWE).
- You should have at least 5 years of experience working with welding technologies.
- You focus on cost efficiency.
- You understand what goes into writing reports and drafting documentation (primarily in English).
- You’re able to communicate fluently, politely and appropriately in Dutch or English.
