Your tasks

You’re responsible for specific welding activities across several projects. You report to the Technology Manager.
You prepare the welding plan for each project in line with the contract documents.
You check subcontractors’ welding plans.
You’re jointly responsible for implementation of the standard welding plan for the organisation – that’s a plan tailored to the production process at the various Smulders sites.
You organise welding procedure qualifications where needed.
You’re the first port of call for customer’s welding queries.

Your magic skills

You’re a qualified welding engineer (IWE/EWE).
You should have at least 5 years of experience working with welding technologies.
You focus on cost efficiency.
You understand what goes into writing reports and drafting documentation (primarily in English).
You’re able to communicate fluently, politely and appropriately in Dutch or English.
