Your tasks
We are looking for a Commercial Cost Estimator, internally known as a Quantity Surveyor, to join our team.
- You review the Tender documentation to understand how the contract price is structured.
- You review contract documentation related to your scope.
- You assess any design changes made after contract signing (drawings, lists, specifications) and determine their commercial impact.
- You prepare cost calculations.
- You work closely with the project team (project manager, contract manager, planner) to strategize and achieve positive project outcomes.
- You defend your cost estimates for additional work with the client.


Your magic skills
- You strive for the most commercially optimal outcome within the contract framework.
- You have a keen interest in technical aspects, particularly construction technology in steel construction. An engineering degree is not required.
- You have a good command of English.
- You possess a solid foundation in Excel.
- You have a critical analytical eye and a healthy dose of common sense.
