JOB | Cost Controller | Arendonk
Your tasks
- You are responsible for monitoring actual costs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- You evaluate whether actual and forecasted costs remain within the allocated budget (sales and zero-based budget).
- You assess whether the correct cost elements have been assigned to the appropriate project or subproject.
- You split and/or reallocate budgets within the project while maintaining a clear overview.
- You critically analyse all costs and proactively engage with relevant departments to clarify discrepancies.
- You refine and improve existing budget control systems.
- You prepare budget control processes within the ERP system.
- You discuss budget control matters with the Project Manager.
- You prepare outgoing invoices and financial forecasts based on the contract value, including approved additional work.
- You update the cost performance report, in line with customer requirements.
- You maintain and regularly update the contract value, including any approved variations or additional work.


Your magic skills
- You hold a Master’s degree, preferably in a financial discipline, engineering, or construction.
- You have gained initial relevant work experience—this is a plus, but recent graduates are also welcome to apply.
- You have a strong interest in the construction and offshore project sectors.
- You perform well under deadlines.
- You possess excellent Excel skills.
- You have a good command of English. Knowledge of Dutch is an additional asset.
