Your tasks
- Perform detailed calculations on the strength and stability of steel structures and related connection details, in line with standards and internal guidelines.
- Calculate assembly stability during the execution phases.
- Determine and gather essential input data: loads, drawings, calculation methods and schedules.
- Deliver cost‑efficient and economic engineering solutions for design, production and assembly.
- Prepare lifting and handling instructions.
- Resolve technical issues raised by the drawing office or the Project Manager, always in accordance with standards and guidelines.
- Meet deadlines and signal risks or bottlenecks in a timely manner.
Your magic skills
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with initial experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of materials and mechanics of materials.
- Thorough understanding of European standards, especially EN 1993.
- Familiar with DNV GL standards and basic understanding of FEM models.
- Experience with SCIA Engineer, ANSYS and/or Autocad 2D/3D.
- Good command of English.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Both recent graduates and experienced professionals are welcome.
