Your tasks
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you’re responsible (and the first port of call) for the electrical aspects of our projects – from the moment a customer contacts us to handover.
You’re responsible for organising and supervising drafting work. You also monitor and check work in our assignments.
- You manage and distribute the drafting jobs assigned to in-house drafters as part of the project and guide these drafters.
- You produce a complete project dossier according to the agreed timelines: producing design schedules of drawings and the associated timeline, developing detail drawings into assembly drawings, and editing existing designs.
- You forward any relevant instructions and oversee assignments for external drafting companies.
- Working closely with the Engineering team, you make sure the designs are aligned and communicate which interface will be used.
- Throughout the project, you check the contract’s technical specifications and applicable standards, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements and the agreed schedule and budget.
- You monitor drafters’ efficiency.
- You check the drawings for technical feasibility, quality and material specifications.
Your magic skills
- You have an in-depth understanding of E3D design software.
- You can draw technical parts (power cables, cable ducts, electrical enclosures, firefighting equipment, lighting, access control, etc.)
- You should have 5 years of work experience in a similar role and sector.
- You’re proficient in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- You can communicate effectively with team members and other colleagues. You’re the port of call for external stakeholders such as partners and customers.
- You quickly become a trusted member of the team and are able to adapt quickly.
- You have an understanding of ISO and safety procedures.
- You quickly master proprietary software.
- You have a VCA VOL certificate.
