Your tasks
- You identify the best suppliers using market research and price comparisons and build a strong supplier portfolio.
- You maintain excellent relationships with existing suppliers.
- You conduct commercial negotiations and seek the best conditions in terms of price, quality, delivery time and payment terms.
- You initiate the administrative flow based on requests from internal customers and keep them informed of the state of affairs.
- You act as a point of contact for both internal customers and suppliers and answer questions about orders, changes, delivery requirements and cancellations.
- You mediate in case of wrong deliveries, price discrepancies on invoices and other problems and solve them as soon as possible.
- You keep an eye on new opportunities and think actively about process optimisations and improvements
Your magic skills
- You have completed a higher education, preferably in an economic field, or are equivalent through experience.
- You are cost-conscious and already have a first insight into purchasing processes.
- You have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- You are very fluent in Dutch and English. Other languages are a great asset!
- You have good PC skills and can work fluently with MS Office and ERP packages.
- You have an affinity with technology or are willing to acquire technical knowledge of the business.
