Your tasks
- You lead a team of approximately 15 people.
- You oversee the efficient planning of personnel and tasks.
- You guarantee safety in the workplace.
- You ensure the quality of the products as agreed.
- You supervise and inspect.
- Every morning, you participate in the production meeting.
- For new projects, you provide your input on the preparation.
- Communication between internal departments is crucial in your role. You liaise with fellow foremen, QC, safety, maintenance, and HR colleagues.
- You actively participate in the weekly toolbox meeting. You prepare and present this meeting yourself.
- You oversee the correct and safe use of materials and tools, as well as internal safety rules.
- You conduct job interviews with new candidates and performance evaluations with the employees in your team.
- You identify the need for additional training for your team members.
Your magic skills
- You have an eye for order, cleanliness, and safety.
- As a good people manager, you can motivate and support your team where necessary.
- You are stress-resistant and skilled in planning and organizing.
- You are results-oriented and flexible.
- You are communicative, honest, and reliable.
- You have good command of Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
- You have technical knowledge of welding.
- You are willing to acquire additional knowledge through internal or external training.
- You have a VCA Vol certificate or are willing to obtain one.
