Your tasks
- You will support the Commissioning Manager in drawing up commissioning plans, limits, schedules and test strategies (MC, HAT, SIT, etc.).
- You will monitor the installation of all components (transformers, control systems, piping, cranes, etc.) and report accurately.
- You will carry out thorough functional tests on all substation equipment and validate that everything is running as it should.
- You will identify technical problems, resolve them and communicate clearly with the Commissioning Manager.
- You will document test results, changes and commissioning activities in detail.
- You will review FAT procedures and attend FAT tests as a representative of the Commissioning Manager.
- You will manage and inventory the necessary tools and materials during the commissioning process.
- You will strictly apply internal procedures (safety, LOTO, PTW, etc.) and give clear instructions to colleagues involved.
- You monitor safety and quality and, if necessary, immediately take a ‘stop the job’ decision.
- You coordinate activities, give functional instructions and monitor progress, quality and safety within the teams.
- You maintain internal and external communication with project teams, QA/QC, suppliers and system integrators.
Your magic skills
- has a technical bachelor's degree or other diploma or experience in electrical systems.
- Do you have knowledge of electrical installations in offshore wind farms? This is a very strong asset.
- has a good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- works mainly at our site in Vlissingen and regular attendance at the Smulders location in Arendonk is required.
- Is a team player who shows initiative and has a no-nonsense mentality.
- Is a creative problem solver who does the work like an expert. Previous experience attests to this.
