Your tasks
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the preparation, coordination and execution of commissioning activities within our offshore energy projects. You will ensure that installations are tested and commissioned safely and in accordance with the specified requirements.
- Prepare and manage commissioning activities from A to Z.
- Coordinate collaboration between engineering, construction teams, vendors and the customer throughout the commissioning phase.
- Support the transition from Mechanical Completion to Commissioning.
- Review and interpret technical documentation such as P&IDs, Logic Flow Diagrams and IO Lists.
- Perform functional testing on mechanical installations and systems.
- Test and validate HVAC, drainage, firefighting and other auxiliary systems.
- Conduct loop testing and verify instrumentation and signals connected to SCADA systems.
- Ensure the correct application of safety procedures and LOTO requirements.
- Record test results and commissioning activities in the designated systems.


Your magic skills
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a similar technical discipline.
- You have at least 10 years of experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, or the start-up and commissioning of technical installations.
- You have experience working in industrial, offshore, energy, or process environments.
- You have a solid understanding of commissioning processes and workflows.
- You are familiar with technical documentation such as P&IDs, Logic Diagrams, and IO Lists.
- You have experience with SCADA systems, instrumentation, and loop testing.
- Safety is your top priority, and you have thorough knowledge of LOTO procedures.
- You possess strong organisational skills and can effectively align and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- You communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Preferably, you hold VCA VOL and NEN3140 certifications.
