 Your tasks 

As a Corrosion Protection Engineer, you are responsible for the entire corrosion protection process. You ensure that our steel structures meet the highest quality standards and comply with customer agreements.

  • Analyze customer specifications and compare them with our standard paint procedures and contractual agreements.
  • Prepare project-specific coating documentation and inspection plans.
  • Organize kick-off meetings and coordinate with QA/QC, production, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor the execution of coating activities and perform quality checks.
  • Safeguard planning and ensure all inspections and reports are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Provide advice on technical issues and the selection of coating systems.

Your magic skills 

  • Master’s degree in (electro)mechanics, materials engineering, or equivalent through experience.
  • Certified NACE or Frosio Coating Inspector Level III.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors – you are the bridge between theory and practice.
  • Strong organizational skills to monitor deadlines and ensure inspections and documentation are completed correctly and on time.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Flexible regarding working hours and location (mainly in Belgium, occasionally abroad).
