 Your tasks 

Are you a driven ICT Project Manager with a passion for digitalisation, technology and process improvement? At Smulders, you will manage a wide range of ICT projects from initial idea through to successful implementation. You connect business, ICT and external partners, ensuring that solutions not only work from a technical perspective but are also successfully adopted by the organisation.

  • You manage ICT and digitalisation projects from A to Z, from business analysis and planning through to implementation, go-live and follow-up.
  • You translate business needs into a clear project scope, planning, requirements and deliverables.
  • You monitor timing, budget, quality, resources, risks and dependencies, taking action whenever needed.
  • You coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and act as the bridge between business and ICT.
  • You organise project meetings and steering committees and ensure clear communication and effective decision-making.
  • You manage external suppliers and implementation partners and follow up on agreements and deliverables.
  • You oversee testing, cybersecurity, GDPR, change management and user adoption to ensure a successful implementation.
  • You actively contribute to digitalisation, automation, standardisation and process improvement within Smulders.

Your magic skills 

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in ICT, Computer Science, Business Administration or a technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • You have relevant experience in ICT project management and in managing projects from analysis through to implementation.
  • You are familiar with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid project management. Knowledge of PRINCE2 or PMP is a plus.
  • You have sufficient technical affinity with software, cloud, infrastructure, integrations and data to collaborate effectively with ICT specialists.
  • You are strong in stakeholder management and know how to bring together different interests and perspectives.
  • You communicate clearly, work in a structured way and maintain an overview, even when managing several projects or workstreams at the same time.
  • You are pragmatic and results-oriented and take ownership.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.

  • you have managed projects within an industrial, manufacturing or engineering environment;
