JOB | (Junior) Contract Manager | Arendonk
Your tasks
- As a Contract Manager, you are responsible for the entire contract management process. From the moment a contract is signed, you review and analyze agreements, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure compliance with all clauses.
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and advise the project team on compliance and commercial impact.
- Identify variations and claims and take proactive measures to prevent deviations.
- Participate in internal and external meetings, document agreements, and communicate clearly with all stakeholders.
- Support negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, and assist in drafting and reviewing contracts.
- Combine legal expertise with strategic insight to successfully deliver projects.
- Work closely with the Project Manager and the team to guarantee the successful completion of each project.


Your magic skills
- You hold a Master’s degree in Law or have relevant experience in contract management within industrial (offshore) construction projects.
- You have an excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- You are eager to learn and have a strong interest in the construction industry and complex projects.
- You work with precision, remain calm under pressure, and have a keen eye for detail.
- You are commercially minded, customer-focused, and possess a proactive and results-driven mindset.
- You can work independently while being a true team player.
- You are willing to travel to other Smulders locations when required.
