 Your tasks 

  • You quickly get to grips with the Smulders group’s strategies and procedures.
  • You take all organisational and technical initiatives required to ensure projects are completed safely, deliver on quality, and turn a profit.
  • You lead an entire project team and regularly consult and work with the Drawing, Production and Engineering department in Arendonk.
  • You organise work for our own and subcontractors’ crews.
  • You produce a weekly report of matters of concern and meet with the project management team.

Your magic skills 

  • You have ample experience managing complex steel constructions.
  • You have an understanding of welding and anti-corrosive coating and how both are inspected.
  • You have experience working on offshore steel constructions.
  • You’re the first port of call for the team if they have any questions or problems – you use your experience and expertise to find a suitable solution.
  • You’re a team player with a dynamic, enterprising personality and a no-nonsense attitude.
  • You’re decisive and take action to get things done.
  • You’re based in Arendonk or Hoboken. You’re willing to regularly travel outside Belgium (Netherlands, France, UK) to attend meetings and talks.
